Trees provide a natural element that not only adds beauty, but also has a calming effect over your property. However, some homeowners go a step further by integrating a beloved tree on their property into their actual home design!

beloved tree Source: Freshome

A contemporary style home was recently built in Sydney, Australia that integrated a beautiful tree into the design of their home. Instead of clearing the trees, which stood in the way of their planned home, they simply built around it. The tree is a gorgeous lemon-scented gum tree, one that would have been a shame to get rid of. The tree stands in a small outdoor area, but one that has a wood deck built around the tree’s trunk. A roof sits above the deck as well, with a large opening for the tree to poke through.

Not only did the homeowners preserve a beautiful tree for their property, they gave their home an incredibly unique look that draws the eye immediately. Their home definitely shows how trees can become a natural part of your home design with really stunning results.

Be inspired to use the trees on your property in a unique way too. Keep up with trees in the news by contacting us at Cartwright Tree Care.
