The Proper Way to Bag LeavesOne of the first things that comes to mind with the fall season is the beautiful foliage, which ineviditably ends up scattered across our lawns, driveways, and streets. To keep your landscape looking its best this fall, periodically rake up your leaves and dispose of them. Surprisingly, many people do not know how to correctly and efficiently bag leaves. Included below are some simple step-by-step instructions to bag leaves the proper way courtesy of Instructables:

  1. Use heavy-duty scissors to remove the bottom of an old plastic 33 gallon garbage container.
  2. Open up a 33 gallon garbage bag and place it inside of your garbage container. Fill up the garbage bag with leaves.
  3. When the garbage bag is full, lift up the garbage container and remove the bag from the bottom.
This unique method of bagging leaves helps to keep the process organized and helps to prevent the risk of leaves scattering all over the place.
