Adding trees to your landscape not only helps to improve your property’s curb appeal, it also provides your kids with another way to enjoy your home’s outdoor area. The following are a few activities that you can enjoy involving your trees:

Find the tree – Blindfold the player and take them to one of your trees. Let them touch it and get a feel for it. Then bring them to opposite side of the yard and let them try to find the tree they first touched.
  • Hide and seek – Every hide and seek needs a safe zone, so make one of your trees it!
  • Build a tree house – A tree house is every kid’s dream. You might think to yourself, “a treehouse might be a little unsafe.” However, you don’t have to build it at the very top of the tree. A tree house only a few feet up will work just as well.
  • Tree climbing – Tree climbing is incredibly fun for kids, although a little stressful for parents. Make sure they wear helmets and go over the safety rules first.

Use trees in these ways and contact us at Cartwright Tree Care for more benefits of trees.
