Perhaps one of the most important things to look for when looking for a tree care company (or any company that you might hire to work on your home or property for that matter) is whether or not the company is fully insured – including workers compensation and liability insurance. As tree care is somewhat dangerous in nature, safety is extremely important in our industry and insurance for the company is a must. If a homeowner were to hire a company that is not fully insured, they run the risk of being subject to paying for the medical bills of any workers that are injured during the time of service, as well as accidental damages that could occur to their home and/or property during the time of service.
