Building an addition to your home, whether it’s another room or a deck, can be a great way to improve its function as well as its value. However, you may be worried about a tree that stands in the area where you want to remodel. Well, don’t! You don’t necessarily need to have it removed.

It’s understandable that you don’t want to have a tree removed from your yard, especially if it’s a beautiful tree that really adds to your home’s curb appeal. Fortunately, you don’t have to. In fact, you should incorporate the tree into the design of your remodel. Have the addition jut out beside the tree and open up to it – thereby making the tree a central part of the overall design. If you’re looking to just build a deck, then you could even build the deck around it, so that the tree stands out right in the middle! The only thing you may have to do is cut down some of the branches so that they don’t obstruct the building.

Integrate your yard’s tree into your remodeling plans and be sure to contact us at Cartwright Tree Services for all of your tree maintenance needs.
