Great Trees to Plant in Small Spaces

Written by Cartwright on September 05, 2014 . Posted in Tree Maintenance

Everyone’s yard looks a little better with a few trees in it. Trees are absolutely beautiful features that help to improve the curb appeal of any property. Unfortunately, some homeowners dismiss the possibility of planting a tree, because they think their yards are too small. The following are a few of the best choices for trees to plant in small spaces:

Wissels’ Saguaro False Cypress – This unique looking tree, which exhibits oddly bent branches similar to a cactus, rarely grows wider than two feet, making it the perfect addition to a small space.
  • Forever Goldie – The Forever Goldi is a gorgeous Conifer that boasts gold to orange colors depending on the season. In addition to only growing up to three feet wide and 20 feet tall, the Forever Goldi is resistant to scorching and can tolerate a number of different soil conditions.
  • Blue Surprise Port Orford Cedar – This bluish-looking tree needs to be in full sunlight, but only grows to roughly three feet wide and eight feet tall.

Consider planting one of these trees in your smaller yard space. If you need Kansas City area tree care, contact us at Cartwright Tree Care today.
