Odds are you’ve dealt with storm damaged trees before. Have you ever wondered what to do with storm damaged trees besides having the branches and trees themselves professionally removed? Why not take some of the fallen branches in your yard and use them to decorate your home?

One way you can use fallen branches is by simply picking up some silver spray paint and painting them silver. Add some glitter for some extra sparkle and then place them in tall glass candle stick holders. You can then use them to flank a larger mirror, or put them on either end of your fireplace mantel. Add a couple of silver ornaments to the base for added holiday appeal.

Another option is to leave those branches in their natural state, pop them into a glass jar and hang your own handmade ornaments onto the ends of the branches. You could even forgo the glass jar and lay the branches down on your mantel to give the fireplace a warm, natural aesthetic.

These are just a few ideas for using fallen branches as holiday décor. For more information on what to do with storm damaged trees, contact us at Cartwright Tree Care today.
