The not-for-profit Kansas City Community Gardens (KCCG) improves the quality of life of low-income

households and other community members by helping them grow their own vegetables and fruit. The beauty of the cause is matched by the casual beauty of the KCCG landscape.

The property includes a beanstalk garden, community gardens, and school gardens. These spaces host a variety of herbs as well as seed plants. Participants get to learn about plants that are native to Kansas and Missouri, as well as many other species.

The Kansas City Community Gardens also reaches out to metro area groups and establishes more individual and group gardens.
