If you share our passion, you can do your part to preserve the planet by coming out to show support for EarthWalk Kansas City. Taking place on Saturday, April 20, 2013, in City Market Park in the historic River Market, this three-mile stroll will offer fantastic views of the Missouri River and the surrounding skyline. Even better is that the spring event will help raise awareness for environmental education by benefiting Bridging the Gap, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainability in the region.
Registration for EarthWalk Kansas City is free, so sign up solo or form your own team and start raising funds for this important cause. Participants who raise $20 or more in pledges will receive a special EarthWalk T-shirt and those who raise more than $250 will receive a Green Cleaning Kit. On the day of the event, registration begins at 8 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m. Afterwards, participants can enjoy the Get Your Green On event with activities throughout City Market Square including a special puppet show for the kids.
