The holiday season is finally here, which means that if you are looking for ways to get into the holiday spirit, then you should consider decorating the trees on your property with lights. The following is just one of many ways that you can add lights to your trees:

Lighting a small tree may seem relatively simple, but what about those taller trees? The last thing you want to do is risk your safety by crawling up a tall tree to hang up holiday lights. One creative way that you can get your lights up in a taller tree is by using a slingshot. Simply put a weight onto a line and shoot it across a limb. Attach a fishing line on one end and then attach your string of lights to it. Then you can simply pull the rope from one end, pulling the string of lights up to the tree. This will result in a number of light strings hanging vertically from your tree for a very unique holiday lighting display.

Hang your holiday lights from your taller tree using the sling shot method. Contact us at Cartwright Tree Care for tips on decorating trees in Kansas City.
