We believe that trees are beautiful both in they're prime and when they have been removed, shaped and repurposed into things like decks, homes and gorgeous pieces of furniture the adorn our houses and places of business. We also believe that those trees that gave up their branches and trunks for these projects should be honored and have continued use even after being repurposed for the first time.
There are many specific diseases that try to attach themselves to our trees here in the Midwest and it’s important to keep an eye on your trees for any changes that may be occurring. Several different diseases that may attempt to harm your trees include Ash Borer, Walnut Canker, Scab, Beech Bark, and American Chestnut Blight.

The Kansas City metro area is currently considered to be abnormally dry on the drought scale. Depending on how much snow and precipitation we get over the coming months, this could change at any time. It’s important to have the right tools to use in case of a dry winter. Trees and plants continue to need moisture during the winter, just not as much as during the warmer seasons. Often times winter watering can be considered silly to your neighbor, but just might be the key to healthier plants and trees when Spring comes around.
